The Focus Image Control Palette is a floating dialog that can be positioned anywhere on the screen. It provides the controls to sharpen and blur the active image.

Image Optimizer sharpenpalette Focus Image Control Palette (p)

This dialog is visible when you are in Focus image mode (i.e. the Focus image button Image Optimizer focusbutton Focus Image Control Palette (p) is down).

To show or hide the Focus Image Control Palette, click View->Toolbars->Control Palette or press the Image Optimizer control Focus Image Control Palette (p) button.

 

Set the sliders to give the desired effect:

%Amount The percentage amount to sharpen by
Radius The number of pixels that the image “mask” is blurred by
Threshold Sets the threshold at which to skip sharpening for each pixel is the sharpening amount is less that the threshold value.

Blur

Set the sliders to give the desired effect:

%Amount The percentage amount to blur by
Radius The number of pixels that the image is blurred by

Press the delete button Image Optimizer delete Focus Image Control Palette (p) to set sharpen or blur to zero.
