The Digimarc Watermarking Control Palette is a floating dialog that can be positioned anywhere on the screen. It provides the controls to set the Digimarc Watermarking settings of the active image.
This palette is visible when you are in Digimarc Watermarking mode (i.e. the Watermark button is down).
To show or hide the Digimarc Watermarking Control Palette, click View->Toolbars->Control Palette or press the button.
Use the Creator drop down list box to select a creator. Use the adjacent button to enter the details of a new creator (see below).
Use the Intensity slider to set the strength at which Image Optimizer will embed watermarks. Use the adjacent button to enter the DPI for the image if you need something other than the default of 100 dpi.
Use the Type drop down list to specify the type of watermark you want to embed:
Use the image attribute selections to specify the types of protections or warnings you want to communicate to viewers of your Digimarc-enhanced images.
Watermark Setup Identifiers
Use this window to enter a new Digimarc Creator ID.
Use the button to create a new entry for a Creator ID. Type over the text “<New Creator>” to give the Identifier the name of your choice. Type in the Digimarc Creator ID and PIN in the Digimarc ID boxes. (Note that the Distributor ID has now been discontinued by Digimarc).
The usage statistics keeps track of the number of images you have watermarked and saved with this ID which can be used for payment of watermarking royalties to Digimarc Corporation. You can zero this number by typing in zero.
